New Strings.

I changed my Mandolin Strings after not changing them for like.... um July 2007? yeah... they were so dull sounding that it was finally unbearable.
I am proud to say that I didn't ruin any strings this time, despite trying to teach mike how to play street fighter and giving it less than my full attention.

i've never tried this myself but some old bass player told me he never buys new strings and that he just boils the old ones until they're clean again and reuses them. he hasn't bought a new set in like ten years and he said most "dullness" is just dirt from your hand. makes sense to me. what do you think?
