This is one of those times where I am so conflicted because there's the obvious "YAY CONGRATS SO HAPPY FOR YOU" reaction, and then there's also the "OMGs NO GODLINGS OR NO SHOW HERO I'M GONNA DIE" reaction.

Good luck in grad school! It's good that there are no distractions. Why pay all that money to screw around?

As for comfy shoes, you can't go wrong with Birkenstocks. I've been living in them for 20+ years. Expensive, but they last forever.
