Believe it or not, pink used to be considered a man's color. Like... in the 1920s even. It's only recently that pink was made to be a girl's color, while boys got blue. I guess it's just one of those changing cultural things.
I would laugh hard at a gero with a pink weapon, though, it's true. Hackett, however, will have to live with pinkish purple magic all the time. Hee hee.
