hahaha! I knew about fanny... A bun's like a dinner roll, right? Then what do you call the bread that a hamburger comes on?

'bun' can mean 'fairy cake' (and is what we most often call it tbh), but it can also mean a bread roll for a burger (also called breadcakes, cobs and barm cakes/barms, depending on where you live- I'm in breadcake land, but that's confusing as older people like my grandad will ask if you want bread or cake? meaning sliced bread or a breadcake...)
