Townie names! (For subhood templates.)

As I've mentioned before, when you add a neighbourhood as a subhood (shopping district, downtown or university), any townies and NPCs in that 'hood get their names randomized. Very annoying when you want to add Pleasantview and suddenly Meadow Thayer isn't Meadow Thayer anymore ( Read more... )

I was just wondering if the social class townie names are randomised as well when playing your uberhood? I want to marry Michelle Tse (red haired gear head) to Chester Gieke as they made some pretty cute kids in my old hood, but so far I haven't stumbled across her in-game and she doesn't appear in the boolprop 'add neighbour to household' menu.
Also, I have the no townie regen mod, do you know if this could this affect the spawning of the social class townies?
Thank you! :)

I'm afraid none of the social class townies exist in the uberhood or in my clean templates. I deleted almost all townies and NPCs, save the Pleasantview ones and a few select others, because otherwise the already huge uberhood would have another few hundred characters, which it really doesn't need.

With no townie regen, new social class townies only spawn when you have unoccupied apartments to fill.

Anyway, chances are Michelle Tse uses an unmodified face template, so it should be pretty easy to recreate someone for Chester who'll make nice kids with him. :)

Ahh I see, that makes sense! Thank you very much!
I think I'll give Chester a shot at some poor unsuspecting playable character this time round then! :D

No problem. :) Believe me, there's more than enough characters with just the playables, heheh.
