Aww poor Daisy. Maybe it's because she didn't have that exploration as a teen that most sims do. I know my Daisy felt out of place too. Fox is adorable!

Yeah, it's a very abrupt change to go straight from toddler to adult. I imagine that in the plantsim community, where this is the norm, the young sims handle it much better... But it's awkward for Daisy to suddenly be "older" than the children and teens she used to be younger than.

Glad you like Fox. :) He's got a slightly odd face shape, though I believe he'll grow into it.

Fox is so cute, but I can't help but feel for Daisy. I don't imagine she has a lot of options romantically as a lot of the Riverblossom premades are married or partnered.

I like how Fox's hair makes it almost look like he's got pointy ears, even though he doesn't. Heh. :)

Daisy's primary romantic interest is... her "uncle" Gabe. I've put them in the 'friend zone' with ACR, but they're best friends so they'll non-ACR-flirt autonomously if I don't keep an eye on them. :/ Otherwise she's also tried hitting on David Ottomas. So, no... no real good options for her.

I must say your posts are one of the few things that actually make me want to give the Greenman household a try.

I'm leaving them at the end of the list in RH because I really can't stand the thought of playing Daisy. It's strange and hard to explain, but toddlers jumping right into an adults feels so wrong, I can't bring myself to play it and see her grow like that. You, however, are making Daisy such an interesting character, it makes me want to see how she will grew up in my game. :)

You can age Daisy to a child and teen by using Sim Blender. She doesn't have default plant skin then and you might need to keep track of her aging (age her manually from age stage to next) but it should work okay. She'll still be plantsim with needs and all. I used to do it like that back when I played more with plantsims. :)

Oh Yes, and don't think I haven't considered that option XD
But I figure if I'm gonna play a plantsim, better get over my phobia and just play them as they are meant to be ;) (I don't think I'll be creating new plantsims, tho, but two I should be able to handle! rofl)

That's quite a compliment, so thank you. :)

I know exactly what you mean. I do love Rose, but I've always struggled trying to figure out what to do with Daisy. You don't get enough time to develop her when she skips right into adulthood like that. So I'm trying to find an angle that makes it work and makes the fast aging part of her character instead of weakening her character.

Fox is so cute! I love his green skin! I remember whenever I would play this family, I would name all their kids after plants, like Fern, Petunia, ect. lol

The green skin is fun, it makes the plantsims feel more like "real" supernatural creatures rather than just some sort of disease they contract from pesticides. :/ I've done a lot of the plant naming theme before as well. I imagine that if Daisy has kids, she'll be doing that.

I loved that there was so many people at Fox's birthday. It really feels like a community. I'm also curious to see how Fox's going to look like when he gets older. In my storyline hood Jason and Rose had twins and their son looks a lot like Fox here. :) He's still a toddler too.
I feel bad for Daisy :/ I always tend to turn her back to a regular sim when she's still a toddler or if I play her as plantsim, I include child and teen stages by aging her with Sim Blender.

Thanks! I try to throw parties fairly frequently and have sims actually socialize with their family and friends, instead of just being entirely focused on their own household. It's more fun that way. :)

I think Fox will grow into his looks. He already looks a lot better as a child. I'm very curious to see what he'll look like as a teen and adult! My Jason and Rose had twins once before too, girls. One had Rose's looks, she was very pretty.

I like this idea of a child/teen stage for plantsims. I don't understand why EAxis left it out... I guess they felt plantsims were already too easy/cheaty to play? But doesn't instant aging make them even more... cheaty? :/ I don't think I would do the sim blender method myself, though, too much micromanaging, at least if I was going to have more than one plant toddler. I'm planning on having Daisy spawn a spore or two of her own sooner or later... But I'm not sure I'll continue the pure plantsim lineage after that. We'll see.
