I'm so downloading them both! =) I like having diversity in my hood and even tho I started on my own version of the Bella's Belles Townhomes I still think I have a good place for yours too. I'm jealous of your graphic card, everything looks so crisp. I thought I bought a decent card myself for my new PC but it still gives me those awful jagged edges on everything. =/ I guess it might partly be because of my flat screen instead of my old ''fat'' screen, I still think you get better detail with the old type of screens even tho they're really ugly and clumsy, same goes with TVs.
Hmm, have you tried using the 'smooth edges' ingame graphics option? I always have that on max. I don't think it's your screen; if it was, my pictures wouldn't look smooth/crisp on it either. :) It's been a while since I had an old monitor, but I remember getting a flat screen was definitely an improvement. (But of course, there are crap flat screens on the market, too.)
(I do sharpen my pictures a bit in Photoshop, but that's only to make up for loss of quality when I resize them, so they are very close to what it looks like ingame.)
You should also try playing with the game's settings on your graphics card. I have an Nvidia 9800GT, which is more than enough to get beautiful graphics in this game and yet the game still looked mediocre. Then I played with the game settings on my card, it all turned out beautiful and it didn't hurt loading time and performance at all, no matter how high I cranked it up. I think all the antialiasing and anisotropic filtering options are the ones that have the most effect, although after a certain point it won't matter if you choose higher than 4x or 6x, depends on your system. You know it won't have any effect when the water reflections on your neighborhood don't improve further.
And thanks for uploading the town homes meetme2theriver, it turns out that I had all the CC necessary! And thanks for the gym too, I hate exercising in front of others so much IRL, that I've never gotten the drive to build a gym for the sims, no matter how useful they are.
