Thanks. :) I love the Burbs too, I think it's the little extra spice of John being the family sim and Jennifer being career-focused.
I really enjoy how later EPs make it possible for the premade sims to live out the things mentioned in their bios, like John and his garden, Mary-Sue and her pottery, and Angela Pleasant and Jill Smith wanting to be 'a fishing boat captain' and 'deep sea welder' - perfect for the oceanography career!
Yeah, Maxis just loves to give the women the Family aspiration.
There definitely are a lot of little things that I really like about a lot of the later expansions, especially Freetime. I just wish that the Oceanography career wasn't so random and specialized. The only FT careers that really made sense were Architecture, and somewhat Dance.
Yeah, I think that becomes more frequent with the EPs, too. There's not that many men with the Family aspiration. Off the top of my head I can think of John Burb, Nervous, Albany Capp (who also has a fortune wife, and a mention in their bio that it wasn't Goneril's idea to have four kids!), Patrizio Monty... Marcel Jocque... Oh, Stephen Tinker. And a couple of the college premades. Okay, so there is a few. :P But there's more women.
The FT careers are kinda silly, aren't they? My least favourite career is the Gamer one from Seasons, though. It's just stupid.
You may not have considered that an exciting two days, but if it had been my game that would have been one of the more exciting rounds of play I had. I always try and patch up Angela and Lilith's relationship as soon as I get to them so they don't have fights everywhere they go.
I am guessing that was a premade house, do you remember which one? I think I have used one that looks like that before for them which is why I ask.
Hehe, well, it seemed kind of bland when I looked through the pictures. It was fun to play, though. I'm looking forward to seeing their baby.
It is indeed a pre-made house, I always move the Burbs into it. It's on the Woodland Drive street, next to the park. Its original colour is beige and it's got a weird empty hole inside of it.

Nice re-work of the house. I always have liked this one, but I never know what to do with it. Glad John has his garden, IT IS DESTINY.
