New Uberhoodia: Desiderata Valley Round 1 (Part 1)

So, here's a bunch of pictures from my first round of playing Desiderata Valley. I played each household for two days. Because I take too many pictures and I'm bad at being selective, I decided to split them up in several posts. First one has the Aspir and Bell families

I agree with you on the Aspir. They seem to have a boring relationship, especially because they both have different "aspiration" in life.
Pauline is such a cute girl and, fortunately she have her grandfather to support her.
Loved Elizabeth makeover. She looks so much younger and ready to "rock"!

Your community lots are always full of "known" sims! (unlike mine) - Pascal is so cute with that maternity outfit :) Oh, and just to say, in my game Puck and Jules get along very well. They are best friends and have 3 bolts :P (but they are not in love yet).

I never played the Bells much before so, it was nice to see a little bit of them :) Issac looks awesome!

Elizabeth looked too old compared to her actual age, she's still not too far into the adult stage.

Who shows up at your community lots? I seem to get a variety of sims from all the 'hoods, usually never any single, compatible ones when I'm looking for potential mates, though. :P I haven't checked Jules and Puck's chemistry yet, but that's an interesting match! I still ship her and David Ottomas, though.

Issac really rocks that beard, I think.

Elizabeth looks good with the makeover. I laughed at the buss driver, creepy and hilarious at the same time! :) Hmm...I should play more with Uberhood :P

You should! I like your uberhood posts. I always enjoy seeing Maxis sims.

The random beard/glasses on NPCs/townies hack gives some interesting results. All my NPCs seem to end up with bandanas, too...

I like the Aspir family. Just like you say, they look all perfect from outside, but not so much when you pay a closer look at them, and I kind of enjoy that. Dysfunctional families are much more fun than functional ones! XD

Victor got a puppy in my game, or better say, Elizabeth gave him a puppy to keep his mind out having more babies :P (at least for a while lol)

Also their relationship with the Bells is really interesting. Sometimes I wonder if they should be playing a swingers game or something of the kind ... you know, behind close doors *evil plots*

Dysfunctional is fun. :D They're kinda like a more elaborate Burb family, don't you think? Haha, swingers. That's a pretty cool idea... >D

Hee, puppy. I don't think it'd work for too long. They did actually try for baby, but it didn't take. Maybe I should put her on birth control.

In my game the Aspirs got a divorce after Victor caught Elizabeth flirting with ... omg I don't remember with whom (she had three admirers). But Victor is getting it on with Natasha - they're all over each other whenever they meet. I'm not sure if I let them get together - they are relatives after all, but not so close, so I don't know...

Your Bells and their home look great! You have managed to make their house quite cozy without changing it too much.

I used to hate Issac and even killed him in a couple of my games. But lately he has grown on me a bit. In my game it's not Victor Hannah is secretly seeing, but Luis. They visited the photo booth as non-playables and I let them go on from that.

I like that picture, too. Olive is trolling for more victims, I think. I do indeed have a lighting mod, from somewhere on GOS... It only adds sunrise between 6:00 and 7:00, and sunset between 18:00 and 19:00, and doesn't do anything to any other lighting. I was linked by Penny, I think.

Haha, Natasha and Victor. That's kinda wrong! They'd be... second cousins once removed, I think (she's Luis' first cousin). I put them in 'the friend zone' with ACR2 so they'd lay off each other.

Thanks! There's a lot of empty space in the Bell house, but I like the furnished rooms.

Issac gets a lot more likeable with a makeover, I think. He really does NEED that beard. And yeah, I noticed Hannah's into Luis. :O

I loved that! Pauline is super adorable, isn't she? She's my favorite Sim in that house. I definitely agree about the boring marriage, too. I'm trying to find them better matches else where.

I really like what you've done with the Bell's house. Daniel's room actually looks like a child lives there now! And in my game, then tension in their marriage is Sharon. She kept rolling wants to flirt with Isaac, and she follows him around when they're both home. It doesn't help that Hannah works a nearly opposite schedule from them.

I can't wait to see more! :D

I'm also trying to find new matches for married sims with none or only one bolt, but I'm taking my time. Mass-breakups would be a bit weird. :) (I'm only playing two days in each house, so.) Pauline is very cute, she's got those huge eyes, looks a bit like an anime character.

Thank you! I think Daniel's room is my favourite. I love decorating kids' rooms with lots of toys and stuff. I think my Sharon and Issac have two bolts, too, while he and Hannah only have one. And yeah, she did have wants to flirt with him. Hmm... Perhaps I should pursue this.
