After being caught hugging Don by Cassandra (okay, after very obviously and publically hugging Don) at Dina's wedding, Nina never has any newspapers anymore, and finds her garbage bin in this position quite frequently:
That IS cool. I've never seen gossip have an actual effect before. The badmouth interaction does, but I don't think it causes furiousness, just negative relationships.
The CS stuff is great. :) I really like the harvestable banana/coconut/papaya/coffee bean trees too. And there's other cool stuff I haven't tried out yet. Our Alexandra O'Mackey has a house entirely themed with these items.
nosy question *blushes* which ones are the harvestable trees?? I downloaded a bunch of CS stuff from MATY but none of the plants have any action available, the closest thing is flower you can 'pick' but the it doesn't work either (it has the menu, but the action just disappear when i click on it) *shrugs*
They're done by Pescado, so I trust the quality is good in them all. The other CS stuff is also nice, but they're mostly just regular objects with a different appearance. Almost all of Pescado's have functionality from Life Stories that's not found in the existing objects in the main game. :)
This was a lot of fun - always great to see all the Maxis characters interacting with each other :) Oh, and hai! I followed you from strange_tomato's page. I'm slightly envious of the two of you though, I wouldn't mind having a boyfriend who's into TS2 as well...mine's not. At all. *sigh*
Just discovered you're from Norway too - kanskje jeg ikke trenger å skrive engelsk da? I alle fall, hei og takk for god underholdning :)
Jeg kan norsk ja, men kjæresten/forloveden min er fra Australia og er ikke så god på norsk ennå, så jeg skriver resten på engelsk. :)
I'm glad you like our journal. :) It's a lot of fun to play all these characters, and by having them all in one huge neighbourhood we don't have to pick one Maxis hood or another, but can have them all interact.
It's all my fault that my boyfriend likes TS2. He was very sceptical of the idea to begin with, but then I started playing it and wouldn't stop talking about it and I caught his interest I guess. Now we tend to always play together. :D
Thanks again for stopping by. Hope we can continue to entertain you!
I also followed you from Strange's page. Your stuff is fun to read. Reading sim stories help while braidng my hair.
Depending on your sims personality, skills and etc, will determine how long it takes to get your talent badges. My one sim made potholders FOR-EVER before geting her bronze. She is at silver now, but it's been a long time here at silver, so hopefully soon, she will get her gold badge.
Thanks, it's nice to hear our silly stuff is entertaining people. :)
I didn't know personality and skills affected the time it takes to get a badge, but that makes sense. I know personality does affect skill learning (serious sims learn logic faster etc). At this rate I still think Coral will be dead before she can get a bronze badge.
Yeah, I love the salvaged CS stuff from MATY too - I love the limbo bar and the hotcoals, adds a certain something to beach parties. The animation is pretty good, too!

Those bongos look great! What a great animation. I should check that out.
