Hehe, the butterflies are cool. Me and my husband (who likes doing house makeovers with me) had a great time with their house.
Kittens are the cutest. I couldn't possibly have them in too many houses, 'cause I'd end up forgetting about the sims and just going 'OMG lookit the KITTEN! It just MEOWED! And now it's SLEEPING. It's so cuuuuuute!' all the time.
I'm the same way. I LOVE (lovelovelove) when toddlers maul the pets. The pets expansion is almost made for toddlers (some of my families, the toddlers are the only ones who notice the animals).
I do too, but then I say to myself that I'm just spreading the love of kittens. I never want to let them go though, because I think with so many of them that they're going to such dysfunctional families :(.
(From one of your other comments about redoing the interior of a Maxis house...that is actually something I REALLY love about trying to stick to Maxis-only stuff. My house building skills aren't great, but it's so fun to try to make one of the houses have personality to fit the sims and things :D)
Yeah, the good part about spreading the love of kittens in the sims is that I can make sure they're all taken good care of. If I were to end up with 3+ kittens in real life there's no way I would be able to give them up. :p (But my two cats so far have been neutered males, so no worries there.)
Back to sims - yes, making over houses to fit the characters is the best, I think! I almost never make or makeover any houses without having sims to live in them. It just doesn't have any personality to build off of, then.
Jumping on the OMG KITTENS SQUEEE bandwagon here. They are too cute!
Also, I really really like your Moonbeam bright/cheery/nature-y home makeover. It's pretty much the perfect "hippie" house. So much more fun than a plain boring white box, and it fits them.
And, thanks! It was so much fun to makeover it. I like building houses from scratch, but taking a Maxis house and redoing the interior completely is just as much fun, I think. I've made over another one of those "white box" houses too... will show that one off later.
Yeah, it was cool to dig out all the craziest Maxis stuff and put it to use. :)
Blossom's bio says something about her loving love and happiness and butterflies and bumblebees. :p I can't remember exactly, but that's the gist of it. Plus, she's got Nature as hobby, and has some pretty hippie-like clothing (not to mention the name!), so... :)

Now to find some families for all those kitties... I always feel a little bad when putting them up for adoption, really.

I have never relly played Blossom, so I don*t know if Maxis gave her the hippy background. But her name certainly gives that vibe.
And I just noticed that I've missed your latest update... *goes off to read*

Did you see chapter 11? I think maybe some people missed it since it was posted in the middle of the easter week.
