Hee, no, it's not bad at all! He is telling the truth - Don does love Cassandra. ...And he loves Nina and Dina and Kaylynn and all women in general, just like you said. ;)
I love your pictures, and your cc (or lack thereof :P). Your game looks so clean. I think that's what I hate about non-maxis-match is that it tends to look...messy.
Cassandra/Don is always fun to read. And I'm interested in why Nina was upset about Dina marrying Mortimer...?
Hee. Yeah, I've tried different CC, and non-maxis-matchy skintones... but it just doesn't look right. Everything I have now is therefore Maxis match, and I really have very little CC, compared to most people. Keeps the loading times sane. ;) I think the problem with non-maxis-match is that it comes in so many different styles are varying levels of quality that it ends up clashing with its surroundings - most of all the cartoony Maxis stuff - and with each other, too. That's why it looks all messy.
Nina's not upset about Dina marrying Mortimer, exactly, but she's upset by her sister's cynical view on love, and having second thoughts about how ethical this whole little plot is.
Poor Cassandra, indeed... but Mortimer is right, in a way. It was good that it happened so soon. Of course, he's too blind to see he's doing the same mistake.
Mortimer & Dina's wedding was well done but, it makes me sad that this day was not perfect for everyone, poor Cassie. Oh, and wow at the coldness of Dina!, I wonder when all of this "I do not love anybody" started to happen in her life. What was the reason why she became like this. I just cannot believe that Don got that stupid so fast! :( I mean, how in the world does he think that nobody will notice that he's not at the party!?, at the same time it's for the best. Cassandra can find someone waaaay better, she deserves better.
I'm not sure why exactly Dina became the way she is, but looking at the pictures of her and Nina from the Maxis photo album, it looks like they didn't have the best of childhoods. I imagine she married Michael Bachelor partly to get back at her parents, and then things just sort of went downhill from there.
Don tends to not think with the right head, that's his weakness. :p But yes, Cassandra does deserve better... Think she will find someone? :)
