RBH/Veronaville: Monty, Antonio (R6)

May 28, 2012 11:04

I'm actually not very happy with the makeovers I did for the Monty side in Veronaville, not this nor the main house. I feel they're too different from the originals. So I've recently changed the main house again, but that's still many, many posts away from this point ( Read more... )

The Montys are so adorable (and omg, with that hair Benedick looks exactly like the younger version of an Italian guy in one of my classes!)

The house looks very classy, too, still not as formal as the Capp side, which is good, but a nice step away from the original!

Thanks. :D I think Benedick quite suits that hair. There needs to be more curly hair options in the game. :)

I'm planning on eventually making over all of the Monty side with more white walls/red roof colours, as I've recently done with the main house, but the roofs will stay flat. I like the interiors I did, I just felt like the exteriors weren't Monty enough. But the... well, OLD new Monty main house will be in the next update, so you'll see. :)

Nice makeover as usual, very elegant - even if I kind of miss the red of the roof. I'd like to see what you changed later on.

The Ottomi have a way of popping up in all of your updates ... ;) But I can understand why. You've managed to make that family unresistably charming.

Thank you. :) Yeah, I missed the red roof too, but I liked them being flat, so my later makeover has a flat roof with red tiles. But that's a while away yet.

Hah! Well, there's just so many of the Ottomi, they kind of dominate the neighbourhood a bit... :)

I think the makeover is great, looks much better than the original even if it's a bit different.

It's almost a little weird seeing a Bianca after watching that machinima thing you linked... :P She's cute as always though!

Thank you. :) It's not that I don't like the house in and of itself, it just doesn't feel quite right to me for being Veronaville.

Heheh. I like Bianca. She's kind of bland to begin with, but that means she's easily shaped into a lot of different roles. :)

I like your makeover a lot. I remember trying to makeover that lot for about five minutes before I became too frustrated, lol. The house is much classier now, which better fits the Montys IMO.

Thank you. :) Yeah, it's a rather clunky layout, I had a bit of a hard time working with it too. I don't think it'll ever be one of my favourites, which is partially why I recently moved Antonio and his family out of it, but that's a few rounds away yet.

The makeover looks great! I love houses with courtyards, so I like that you preserved that while updating the overall look. It's much more sophisticated now, while retaining a Mediterranean charm.

Thanks! :) I liked the courtyard too, so I wanted to keep it. I'm really fond of the garden in the main Monty house too.
