I pray to the SiFi gods that HG makes it out of this season alive. I was thinking earlier, she probably won’t. It makes me feel less crazy that I’m not the only one thinking it. I can see them killing her off just because they don’t have any other way to truly end her arc. I’ll be extremely peeved if they do that! But it only makes sense that if someone really dies for good, it’s almost got to be her or Leena, and I don’t see them killing Leena (even though she’s hardly getting screen time anymore.) So unnerving! Hasn’t Spartacus given us enough dead Jamie trauma?!
OMG LOOK AT HOW CLOSE MYKA AND HG ARE STANDING!!!!!! Quote Jo: "Can you see the lesbian love?"
If they kill HG there will be a fan uproar, and I hope the writers know that and therefore WON'T kill her. If they do, I'll probably still watch the show, but I will be a sobbing wreck.
Funny (alarming) how we're creating our own "HG dies" rumor here.
Let's not talk ourselves into self-created despair here, kittens! lol
Other than our extreme love over Helena G. Wells and so our extreme paranoia over ever losing her, I've seen nothing actual, real and behind the scenes ominous that would make us think that's probable.
HG has only ever been a reccuring character, so JM's gigs on other shows doesn't preclude her return to W13 at all.
And HG has gotten alot of attention and kudos (and TPTB realize that, hence: spin-off talk) and so that route would be really, really stoopid of them.
And I don't think Joanna would be so cruel as to stoke our shipper love, knowing it might end badly (or rather just...END).
So I vote: unlikely.
Anwyay. This is Sci-fi/Fantasy. No ONE EVER STAYS DEAD. Just ask Spock.
On to pointless speculation: I wonder if those Mayan looking brain wave-y chairs somehow make HG and Myka share memories/identities or something, even temporarily? Then Myka will know, absolutely, how sincere HG's

Thanks for these great photos and the promo preview. Like rhyfeddu, I'm going to remain positive and hopeful.
I'm going to speculate that photo 1 shows Myka and HG right after HG has saved Myka from 'the chair' (a version of which was used on James Bond in ... The World Is Not Enough, I think, and maybe on Xena and Callisto, too). I further speculate that they are standing that close because (of the LOVE, yes:)) HG has been re-solidified, had her consciousness and body merged, whatever. I think the coin in the preview might be the cause of that, and maybe HG's crying or seems in pain because while her body and mind merge, it physically hurts, or she has to relive the events of her life, or something like that
