I´m with stupid

It was so much easier to respect people before there was Facebook and you could see your random friends (fortunatelly not the close ones) share a load of right winged populist shit and even things from Nazi - parties, that are only still allowed in this country because someone at the court messed it up ( Read more... )

A lot of people on my list have accidentally shared stuff from Britain First, a totally fascist group - the problem is they keep putting up posts that look really innocent (like one friend posted one saying "share this if you are against violence to women") and people share them without realising who they came from. I have been letting friends who did that know and they all then deleted it. But it's scary how those creeps are getting around. :(

It's similar...though I have to say that what's going around here is far less "accidental". There's the common bullshit about Germany paying for each and everyone but not for the own people. I made some evening fun of teaching someone on a friend's friendlist about asylum-law. There's the big problem: people  know nothing but they csn easily sing alongvifvonky the song is simple enough.

I've stopped talking because it NEVER works (yet, I admire people who still have the patience to try), I also remove them at once without so much as a word of explanation. This said, it's never been anyone important (jeez, I don't even want to think of someone I really care for posting awful stuff like that).
Anyway, it sucks, I agree.

I decided that I will not block....as the same person did this to a person who spoke out clearly against the crap she was posting. I will not ignore people with other concerns...well, for a while. If they annoy the crap outa me I teach them how to fly. >:-)

Eeek! I think I would hate to know what my own family posts....my Grandma used to send some of those chain joke e-mails years ago that made me shudder.

I have a lot of right wingers as FB friends too (not sure what right wingers are like in your country) but thankfully no nazis! I don't think nazis are common in the US but they do exist. If I saw a friend posting that kind off shit they would be off my list quickly!

I guess "right wingers" are pretty much the same everywhere. Always stating that your country pays to much into other countries but not your own and pushing fears against foreigners and other groups that are different to them and always talking about how much better it used to be in "old times".

It has become an aweful lot lately... there is all this stuff about people only coming to our country for the wellfare and that of course they get everything while Germans get nothing....and I´m just shocked how many people around me believe that crap and share it though they don´t have any idea on how the state of law is and what´s really going on.
