It had been two years since I had sung in public, and I was on the verge of panic. The virus that had attacked and paralyzed my vocal cord in the middle of my sophomore year of music school still caused unpredictable cracking, but that wasn't the reason for my drained confidence

Oh man, that would have hurt me so much. I hope he develops issues with his vocal cords and experience what youhad to endure, sorry that sounds cruel, but it hursts me and I deal with this so much with people... "you are not blind; you can see me" I am very low vision and 90% of the blind people have some vision, only 10% are totals. It is absolutely nuts!!!!
