People around the world do watch watch this game. I don't know why. To mean it means after two no customers asking questions or need things done for them, so I'll actually be able to get my work done. Today: inflate 100-150 Valentine's Day balloons. I got about fifty of them done yesterday (between interruptions) and I still have so many left...

I'm sure there are, but it's still an event to/for Americans; I know it's football because of the icon, where I am for sports fans this weekend is all about the Six Nations!

For me it's been about the chance of snow, crocheting a hat and watching a comdey dvd with hubby.

100-150 balloons! Please say that's helium and not you manually blowing them 'cause that'd take a lot of puff!

True. I only know who's playing because we had balloons.

Helium. I actually didn't get to them because I had 35 flower arrangements to make at they took forever...

They should get some non-Americans to make those writers-block questions @_@ Or at least someone who's a bit more internationally oriented. US citizens aren't even the largest user group here, aren't they? *too lazy to google this fact, going purely on instinct*

I'm with you Meep, all the way *salutes*

Have you seen that ridiculous Madonna video to go with it? *eyeroll*

It would be nice if they could keep to questions everyone can answer or that celebrate the variety of people on lj

I get the feeling lj don't really look at comments people make.

It's America based so probably mostly Americans use lj but a lot of us quaint little 'other' people do too!

*salutes*

Nope, will keep avoiding that ;)

Wait! There are other countries?? *grins*

Am not watching the football game. Two teams are playing; the Patriots and the Giants. I don't have books on those teams in the Library. So I stuck a football book in the center and put books on Patriots and patriotism on one side and books about Giants on the other. My Librarian and I were giggling over Dahl's book BFG. Do you suppose he was giggling as he chose the title? Big F Giant. F is for 'Fat', not 'fucking'.

*Does best eyeroll* sighes: you Americans!

Just two teams, so this is the final of a series of matches then? Actually don't bother trying to explain, you'll be there all day - I suffer from sports-avoidance!

F could be for so many things. Inspite of checking it out to students, I've never read the BFG to find out. Friendly sounds good. *sighs* Now I'm going to have to go read some of it. Oh a Library person's life is a very very hard life. *grins*

All the questions they must have submitted you'd think them capable of better selections.

Not heard that useage of 'rooting'

That question about which ONE would you chose; family, love, or friends; had me shaking my head in refusal of the need to choose. Then the thought that Love covers the other two came to me. Took me a while to figure that out. My brain has been slow.

I started to answer it then decided I was being too literal and tired and grumpy ;) :p

Question didn't really make sense unless they meant 'lover' by 'love' get the feeling it's by a younger person too because what's 'family'? parents... or partner - wouldn't that come under 'love'?

- If you have love then you have friends and family. Without love the others cease to matter.
- Friendship requires emotion and caring ie love to exist.
- Family as in a sense of family; without love and friendship it doesn't have meaning, it becomes mere genetical linkage.

Yes Meeps best avoid writers block when feeling tired LOL
