Blame Charis - BUNNY-LIST

This was SUPPOSED to be a comment fic not 1257 words /fail

Coinin huddled in his corner, making himself smaller, though not as small as he’d have liked.  The cocktail in front of him tasted sweet and he licked at the salt rim, his whiskers twitching.  He got a few speculative glances and huddled further away from them.

He couldn’t figure why anyone was looking at him when the young wizard on the barstool was particularly vibrating in want.  He’s been that way since he’d been changed back, rushing from the police station to here.  Coinin hadn’t really needed help changing back, but it was easier to play along with the stern official wizards than admit he’d stayed with the bunny-traffickers because he’s had no where else to go.

Watching as the young mage was most deliberately claimed, Coinin squirmed in his chair.  Other people always seemed to find someone who wanted them.  Not him.  Feeling needy he licked at his drink again, he wanted to leave, but to where?

A large man stood in front of his table blocking him from the eyes of other patrons.  His whiskers twitched, liking all they sensed.  ‘Hey little bunny’  he voice was deep and rough and stroked him.  It made him was to twitch his ears and fluffy tail, neither which this form had!  The tail he did have rose obligingly to beg.

Chuckling the man sat down, rounding the table to be close.  A few faces around them gave resigned looks and turned back to their drinks.  He felt trapped.  Unconsciously his hand lifted to rub his neck wear until recently his shiny colour had been.  The collar had kept him in his familiar form but it was familiar and comforting.

A hand reached to stroke his fur.  Hair.  Hair it was called in this form.  Coinin leaned into the petting, relieved not to have to talk.  The large man stroked behind his ears, right where his bunny ears would be.  He didn’t notice his eyes closing until that gentle chuckle washed over him again.

He wanted his natural form, he wanted to stretch out and feel that chuckle ripple through his fur.  Those clever fingers to twist in his fluffy tail.  He wanted.  He wanted something he didn’t know!  New feelings puddled in his chest and suddenly the soft seating felt uncomfortable, lacking in friction.

If he was in bunny form he’d be begging to be let out of his hutch, eschewing sweet fragrant hay for a lap of the obstacles.  Running as fast as he could, leaping agilely over the hops.  Returning to cuddle sleepily in his bed, tired and satisfied.  Pity he daren’t change back so soon, the investigation was going to be intense.

‘You know? I’ve always wanted a pet bunny.’ the deep voice told him, hands gentle as they smoothed his hair and fingered the arch of his small human ears.  ‘I have a large garden and could even arrange fresh hay’  Coinin shock himself, sitting reluctantly straighter.  His eyes narrowed suspiciously.  He fumbled for the necessary words.

‘Shhh, easy little bunny.  No expectations, we’ll see how things go?’  Mysterious unknown things.  Human life was far to complicated.  So much easier to strip to the fur and give up silly notions.

He got his wish sooner than he thought, safe away from nosy wizards.  He curled small and wiggled his tail.  Lovely.  The hay was soft and fresh, it smelt nice and tasted sweet when he nibbled.  He was cosy and warm, felt safe and oh so good.  The giant Hare sprawled beside him helped with that.

The Hare took up more than it’s share of the hay bedding but was considerate to his comforts, made sure he was settled and close.  He also a furnace just perfect for snuggling into.  Coinin never wanted to move.

His Hare insisted on moving despite his range of cute cuddle-me expressions.  He did get a careful grooming, more abbreviated than he’d have liked.  Breakfast had his whiskers twitching.  He wasn’t used to warm food and the range of flavours.  Golden butter melted on lightly oaty toasted bread.  Shyly he poofed to human and inched forward to taste.

The days blurred pleasantly, Coinin liking this new home.  His new owner who petted him in the day and by night poofed to large Hare to keep him close.  The itch though didn’t go away.  Coinin found himself yearning still, unsure for what or of how to ask for it.

Things changed the day his owner brought him a new collar.  It was pretty and blue and had sparkles, and a bell he said they could remove.  It wasn’t magical, not the way his other had been.  It could change so it fit him in either form, but it didn’t bind him, he was still free to go.  He didn’t want to go!  He liked it here, he wanted t stay.

A kind chuckle greeted his silent panic, reassuring as a hand petted his hair.  His friend told him he was welcome and this was his home.  The collar a gift and his choice to wear or not.  He put it on, turned coyly so his friend could fasten it.  It was pretty and his favourite blue and sparkly, the sparkles caught the light.  It meant he was wanted, which was simply delicious.

A soft chuckle met his preening in the mirror and unthinking Coinin rushed over, leaping into surprised but welcoming arms to hug his human in joy.  The arms froze then closed around him, a heavy sigh brushed his hair as he was held close.

His Hare smelt just as nice in human form.  Was still warm and safe and lovely.  His pants felt too tight and his body ached.  ’Sweet little bunny’ the words were gentle. ’Being human has it’s advantages too’ the words confused him, he looked up wide eyed as a head lowered for lips to meet his.

It was new and scary but rather nice.  Trusting he let a tongue part his lips and hesitantly he opened his mouth and returned the kiss with fervour.  Rubbing close seemed a good idea, close as possible.  Close to the hard length pressing against him, that caused lovely approving sounds and felt so good.  So right.

Coinin found he rather liked being human and getting petted.  Furless skin felt different under gentle hands and when the touches got rougher his body sang and craved for more.  He only heard his own voice beg when his friend, his owner answered his pleas.  His whiskers twitched against the new feelings and tickled the suddenly bared flesh of this human-hare.  His own hands scrabbling to bare more flesh to taste.

It was natural and he flew by instinct, guided by caring hands.  Sleeping tired and satisfied in protective human arms.  He woke energised, eager to experience more.  Chuckles soon became gasping moans as he tried new skills and explored new tastes.  And oh, oh yum, so much yum and the sensations and ohhhhhh lovely.

Smiling down on his lover some days later Coinin figured it out.  He may wear a collar, it was his prized possession, but  he also owned his friend.  He was as much master here as pet.  Sometimes more.  He gave a predatory smile and hands cupped his slim hips, whispering about demon bunnies and sinfully cute lovers with their lust for life and loving.  Whiskers that tickled in the most delightful ways and fluffy tails that bobbed and danced distraction.

The little bell twinkled happily long into the day, they never quite got around to removing it.
