Saskia started it, so don't believe her innocent expression, though I know she's been practising it.
Charis then took it places it had no warning it would go, as only she could!
So here's my little drabble, unlike the others it's not 100words :p or fitted to a prompt - I needs sleep too much to play.
Uses Saskia's characters and follows on not long afterCharis's 'Puppy', I'll add in links tomorrow if I'm able ;)

As resident familiar it was only right he seek a high perch and survey his territory; or so he told himself as he glared down at the abomination, daintily cleaning a paw with suitable distain. Brian was going to be quite angry when he got home and saw the charred remains of his kitchen table and what had been one of his favourite doodle pads, served him right for summoning the creature.
Summoning a poxy dog was insult enough without it being a dreaded hellhound! He nicknamed the evil incarnation Pox and refused to acknowledge the cuteness of it’s floppy ear, chocolate eyes or the endearing head tilt. Not endearing, dastardly, dastardly and insufferable. Very possibly evil.
He was up here to better control the situation. He was most certainly not scared of the orange flames licking across the floor barricading him into this little den. He’d noticed they were no longer burning anything and twitched a whisker at the proof the overgrown puppy could learn.
Selecting high ground was evidence of his superiority, the grace and agility that categorised his species, it was not running scared or hiding! Although he had no intention of descending to plebeian heights until Balthazar returned. The wizard would surely put things to right.
Something below garnered his attention and he was startled to see that the ash falling about Pox was shimmering. The puppy stood, then continued to rise until it was standing there in human form, floppy ears falling from short spiky hair, a snub nose and huge melting eyes and a very eager grin.
Suddenly being cornered didn’t seem so bad, and the sound of voices that heralded Brain and Balthazar’s return opened up even more possibilities.
