HERE and here is the result, my first ficlet of the year :D
Waking Dargon was confronted by galaxies. Winter was in dragon form stretched out beside him, soft puffs of steam leaving his nostrils to warm the cave. In this form he was huge and filled their small haven. Staring into the nearest eye Dragon felt lost, both awed and cowed.
Part of him still felt the urge to scuttle back, to prostrate himself before this magnificence. Waking further his fingers itched to stroke the cool smooth plate above Winter's eye, the grained agate with it's lethal edges and hints of gold.
In this form Winter's eyes were deep blue pools of ancient wisdom, stars twinkled in their depth. Swirls of secrets beyond a mere mortal man's comprehension. Dargon sat up, his fingers reaching out, when magic exploded about him causing him to fall back among his cushions and blink groggily.
Winter now stood in human form. Smaller but no less splendid a sight. Pearl skin with peach and golden accents gleamed in the dim flickering light, his hair a dark fall around him. His eyes were the same blue wells but these lips smiled with more familiar mysteries. His manhood stood proud as any jousters lance.
Dargon reached out, his fingers finding warm firm skin and lingering on it's silky feel. Winter gave an all to human groan before pouncing. There were more ways to warm the cave than dragon smoke and they had all the time in the world to explore the most enjoyable of them.
Villages below the high craggy hills were accustomed to tortured howls echoing down with desperate cadence, they blamed the wind surging through narrow hollows. None who set eyes on the benevolent snow dragon and his human companion could imagine any other cause. Any words uttered up high in the caves were too ragged to discern.
