Right on mother

Had a good time in Tuscon on Sunday! Played a really cute game called Apples to Apples with some folks, and took a lovely walk with Karen's Dad, sister, and some of the kids (there's a LOT of kids at these events) around the empty college grounds there. I really needed that! No smoke, a nice breeze, and brisk walk... <3 Good food, nice time ( Read more... )

Damn, that visualizer is cool! I'm the sort who invents solar systems in my spare time (part of my writing, y'know), so it's even more fun!

And thanks for the link to Blue Gorgon! I love your art--it makes me want to write stories and create characters. If I come across some money, I'll keep your store in mind.

Isn't it?? I was floored checking out that site! It would be so cool if there was a similar site or something that let writers create their own. It would be very cool to be able to visualize and save it like that!

And thank you! :D

WoW breaks are a good thing. I've been on one, and it keeps getting better and better. I haven't even WANTED to play in three days - I usually just get on to chat with people, if that. Helps that my computer is a piece of awful crap, but it's nice to experience real life for once. I figure, after one Ally 70, one Horde 70, and a 60 who's fine sitting in AV for hours on end grinding honor, I'm pretty content with where I am in the game. Now it's time to be content where I am in life.

Yeah, breaks are good. When both work and play are at the computer, it's easy to get burnt out. It's felt good to get away from the machine. It'll be all the better when we live somewhere that I could actually take a walk or something.

I get in this character creation obsession that can really sink me too. It's fun to make new characters, but then I'm bogged down by the numbers. I need to go through and delete the ones I know I won't play for my own sanity. I love my characters, but I love RL too. It's good to step back so not to completely burn out and dump the game entirely. I really need to sit down and explain this to my guildies so they know I'm not abandoning them. The GL thing adds an extra "blarg!"

Zufli will very likely be my Ally main, she's adorable and I love her. But I don't want WoW to turn into a chore. It's a game, and it should be fun. Breaks are a huge help in keeping it from becoming a chore!
