Hee hee! I have been fascinated by the interaction between authors and characters for years. In the past I've found out that a character I thought was straight was in a relationship with his male attendant, and I once had a character tell me where she'd been while I was working on other projects--and the answer surprised me. And in the story I'm writing right now, the plot got overturned when a character made a surprise move that left another character AND the author floundering.
But this hasn't gone unnoticed! Here's an article from our campus paper I read a few years ago. Intriguing, no? I'd be interested in seeing more ...
That's an awesome article! It is fascinating how it works. I'm often baffled or surprised by what they know or don't know, or what I know or don't know. To the point of looking up RL science or world stuff up to fact check and going "Wait... did I know that before and forget or something?" and them going "HAH, I told you."
I love being surprised by my muses. Karen and I usually start stories without knowing where they're going. Medusa is an exception to that because, like the Titanic, we all know how it's going to end. But there's still so many surprises along the way!

It's a fun fun fun method of writing. This is probably why I have no concept of boredom.
