In Ma-tsu news, the test came back inconclusive... So to be safe they want to take the nodules out and send the things in for a serious wtf-is-this test. She's set for surgery on the 21st. They're very optimistic though and because the nodules are quite small it should be a relatively minor and simple affair... still, reptiles heal slow and she's ( Read more... )

I have my fingers crossed for Ma-tsu's tests and surgery.

I haven't bought Echo yet, but I hope to soon. It looks so very different from SiP, but hey, it's Terry Moore and I trust him.

That nylon feeder is handy!

Thank you, here's hoping it all goes smoothly! Our vet doesn't seem worried about the surgery at all, just the nature of the nodules, so I'm trying not to worry too.

Yeah, the apparent sci-fi element is throwing me because... I dunno, it LOOKS so SiP you know? But like you said, it's Terry Moore, if nothing else we must check it out!

Fingers are crossed for the feeder helping remind the bunnies that hay is not a litter box *headdesk* The coroplast stuff just arrived today, so they are in for a surprise later when we redo their whole corner for maximum sweepability!

Do the bunnies give each other quizzical looks when things have been changed, like other critters do?

Funnily enough, the quizzical looks are directed more at the environment itself and those who changed it rather than at each other.

They'll explore everything thoroughly, look at us like we're crazy "What did you crazy humans do now??", then discuss it amongst themselves in nose twitchy morse code. Group naptime typically follows. ;) It doesn't freak them out like it does cats though, they tend to be excited and curious while they explore.
