Life's still a dream

Lots of dreams lately, the kind where I'm very busy and don't feel like I've gotten any sleep when I wake up. Lots of new home dreams, which is no surprise. But in this latest one I actually remembered toward the end that dahliablue had come over and we were yacking and going through the movie and book collections in the new house. :) What a nice way to ( Read more... )

There's a firefox extension that will preserve the state your tabs were in when it crashes, I believe. I've honestly never crashed it, so I never installed it. Do I just not surf to interesting sites?

Ooh, I'll look into that thank you! It might just be that between Karen and I (or even just each of us by ourselves) open too many tabs at a time. I dunno, but if that extension works woot!

The extension I use is "session saver" to save the tabs. It's been a long time since I've had problems with Firefox crashing, though. (Unless it's a java-intensive site I'm viewing.)
Lots of people love the browser Opera. ;)

Opera is one we haven't tried yet, though the session saver sounds awesome. :) Thanks! Hmm, decisions decisions!

Aww, cool! I can totally picture doing that with you. I'll stop by any time. :D

Congrats to Irwin! He's all grow'd up now. Hehe.

Yay! You're always welcome! :D

And yes he is! It's so weird because usually baby snakes shed more often because they're still growing, not less! But I guess since Irwin doesn't have far to go he's taking his time, lol!

You wrote "Lots of dreams lately, the kind where I'm very busy and don't feel like I've gotten any sleep when I wake up." and "braindead slump" Just a heads up dear, I felt just like that. I had many dreams and felt foggy brained with no rest after sleep and I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. The best thing I ever did was spend the night in a sleep lab after talking with my Dr. I use a CPAP to sleep and my restful sleep has greatly improved. I hope this helps you. All the best, Namaste John.

Wow, a lot of folks in Karen's family have sleep apnea, it never occurred to me that I might. Was it constant though, or just every once in a while? Cause sometimes I sleep like a baby with no problems for a while, then when I'm stressed or something I have problems. I've also been slacking in my yoga, and I slept better when I was doing it. Thanks for the heads up, always good to investigate all angles!

It really was not until I was diagnosed with depression that I questioned my sleeping habits. I had been injured in an accident and was unable to work for a long time, I attributed the loss of restful sleep to physical pain. My symptoms were waking up early. Feeling tired and grouchy, very vivid dreams, some nightmares were so intense I woke up screaming. This all stopped when I got the cpap. The first night I slept with tyhe cpap I slept 9 hours strait through and had to be woken up.

Oh wow... I'm glad you've gotten that taken care of! The cpap sounds awesome. Waking up early is never my problem, it's more of a trouble getting to sleep in the first place thing. Once I'm out I'm out. At least till the Cleo's insulin alarm goes off and I need to be up. I dunno, I'll look into it. Thank you!

What's the name of your Sisters of Elune character? That's where I have most of mine.

Kahani, the Hunter Troll. :) Love her! Karen is Leapingwater the Tauren warrior on that one too if you see her around.

I have an Orc named Chongo. A Draenei named Faunos, and the rest are all blood elves.

Sweet, I'll add them to my flist on there! :) No Alliance on SoE yet, but I could very easily be persuaded to make another Draenei. The Blood Elves suit you, all that Apollo energy. ;)
