Tread Careful Brother

Tread careful brother, for you step
Where angels sneer & demons jeer
And many dreadful other, have hewn and lept,
Clawing at it’s murky depths,
Tearing away chunks till I run for cover,
And all that’s dear I can hold near,
So tread careful my dear brother,
For your footsteps are all I dread.
