For those of you who read my journal but don't know, Canada is going to an election. This will be my third voting election and I'm not even 22 yet.

38th Federal Election - June 28, 2004 - Liberal (Langley) - Conservative 48%
38th Provincial Election - May 17, 2005 - NDP (Langley) - Liberal 52%
39th Federal Election - January 23, 2006 - NDP (Read more... )

Let's see how you did :)

Another Liberal minority government
<-- Not quite, but a fair enough prediction based on polls at the time (as your entry on the 14th suggests)

I think it is very important for the NDP to increase their share of seats this time around.
<-- from 19 to 29.

Here in BC, I would say Vancouver-Centre, Vancouver-Kingsway, Victoria and perhaps even West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast are reasonably likely to switch if the NDP can run a decent campaign.
<-- First two firmed Liberal, third switched, fourth switched to Liberal. Several other quite unexpected seats switched.

I doubt BQ will be as big this time around in Québec.
<-- Correct - 58 down to 51.

I think people talking about the Liberals losing serious numbers of Toronto seats are deluded.
<-- Correct - I understand you meant in context "...to the Conservatives", and they didn't lose one. They lost three to the NDP.

Not bad!
