Yuu-chan is in trouble! Care to see why~~? XD

Yuu-chan is sitting on the stairs leading up to her apartment complex. She's scowling, glancing every now and then at a large bundle next to her. She clearly is not happy about it. Every now and then she'll sigh. She's intent on ignoring the bundle next to her. Every now and then a smothered chirp will come from the bundle and she'll glare at it.

[Someone is coming up the stairs to meet you then, Yuu. If your wondering how he found you, he's got a very facinating talent for tracking people--by scent. But if you were to ask he'd just say he has his ways.] Good evening.

Thankyou. [Breathing in the scent of the tea to check for poisons or drugs--nothing personal, just a habit picked up from living with people who think it's funny to spike each other's drinks. Once he's sure it's safe he takes a sip, listening to her.]

Hatch into what? Or do you have to wait and see?

[She just kind of sits there for a minute, eying the egg. Finally, she takes a sip of her tea. Her face is resigned.] ...a child, apparently. My child. Which I will then have to raise.

[She glances at Zexion.] Please tell me it's not just me. You also believe my friend is completely irresponsible, don't you? She takes things too far. [She sighs and glances at the egg again.] It's not like I wanted a child. I just mentioned I can't have children and this happens. I'm never confining in her again... [Oh, there's more to the story, but she's distracted by the egg again. It's chirping its happy tune again. She glares at it.] Why must you make noise? If you're an egg, shouldn't you be quiet?

[Calm tea sipping before he answers.] It does seem fairly irresponsible, yes, to spring a child on someone. It's a great responsibility. And to place a child with one who does not want it will only make both that person and the child suffer in the long run. [Sips his tea again--sounds like he's speaking from experience there, doesn't it?]

Oh dear. I must sound terrible. You must think I'll be a terrible parent. [She glances at the egg, which started ringing in alarm like an oldfashioned alarm clock. She jumps up and immediately picks it up, rocking it. She looks a bit panicked.] Oh dear, oh dear. What's wrong now?

[The egg calm a bit, the ringing stopping but she continues to rock it absently.] So you think I should give it up? Return it or something? [The egg starts ringing again, apparently not pleased with the thought. She starts rocking again, humming softly. She'd actually be a good mom, she just didn't think she wanted a child yet. She glances up at him and smiles apologetically.] Sorry about this. It'll calm down in a minute. It seems to like me.

I don't recall saying anything of the sort.

[He watches the scene quietly until she asks him a question.] That is a choice only you can make.

I couldn't help it, I had to make him hold it again XD

Even if I wanted to return it, it's too late now. [She sighs and shakes her head.] It's already imprinted on me.

[Ding! Ding! A little alarm is going off in the kitchen and she glances at it. Oh, right. Sebastian said he'd step out for a minute right before she arrived home. He asked that she look in on the pie. How could she have missed that scent? Well, she needs to check the pie but... She glances down at the egg. Well, only one thing to do. She walks over to Zexion and holds out the egg.] Sorry to do this to you again. I'll just be a second. Need to check on Sebastian's pie.

[He sets his tea aside and holds out his hands--why on earth does she seem to think it's a good idea to make him hold that thing? Really... But he will. Almost... warilly... Not that he knows it's going to hatch into a kid it's sort of... strange. He doesn't do well with kids. Even ones inside eggs.]

[The egg doesn't seem to care that he doesn't do well with kids. He chirps happily at him before humming softly. It's vibrating slightly.]

[Yuu has run into the kitchen and is popping open the oven. Just in time! The pie looks ready, not burnt, and she grabs the ovenmitts. She quickly pulls is out and sets it on the cooling rack. She kicks the oven door closed and rushes back to Zexion. She knows he can't be too happy holding her...egg.] Sorry, sorry. I did it as quickly as I could. Here, I'll take it back now.

Zexion's never happy. lol

[He passes it back carefully. He has this sneaking suspicion that she's trying to find ways to make him hold it. But he won't mention it.]

Ask why she said that and not only will he be unhappy, he'll run!

[She glances at the egg as he hands it back and sighs, but this time in relief.] Good, you didn't hold it too long. That would have been terrible. Hopefully Sebbi will be back soon and he can help me take care of it. [She's staring at the egg again, which is chirping happily, and sighs in defeat. There's no way she can return it anymore.]

Eh. I doubt it... >.>

[She's not really paying attention, frowning at the egg.] No... [It's hard to tell if that answer was meant for him or not. He can take it as he will.]

[There's a knock on the door. Someone's here, someone Yuu has been expecting.]

[Yuu rushes to the door and opens it, still cradling the egg in one arm. She's not surprised to see Sebastian standing outside her apartment. She thrusts the egg into his hands.] Here. Hold this for a couple minutes.

[They both stare down at the egg in his hands.] Damn, it's not working...
