Excellent chapter! The way you continue to peel the inner-workings of John and Sherlock's minds like an onion is brilliant. However, the transformation of Mycroft is still my favorite part.

I am uncertain about one part: how much time has passed in the "gap"? From Mycroft's time in the fort to the scene where John returns from the park. Days? Weeks? Months? Years?
