LOL. Quite the picture there! I hope the bed survives until June. Thanks for your enthusiasm. See you in 6-8 weeks!

Time to dig into a little more Miranda-ishness, eh? That's next on the docket in one form or another. After all, the girls are away for the weekend and the elevator is finally functional. Unless Miranda decides to hang with Horse Turd (ish!), isn't it about time she got Andy out of the basement and gave her a tour of the upper levels? And the lowdown on C&C's "issues"? Yeah, I think so!

Thanks for letting me know you've enjoyed this. It's much appreciated.

I'm sorry this arc is over but I am looking forward to June. So Andy figured out she loves the little devils (devilkin?). Good. Now on to the grown up devil.
In part 13 you describe the girls' father as a folk/rock guitarist-turned-music-executive. Did Miranda meet him pre-executive? Will we learn a little bit of that back story later? That detail struck me when I read it but I forgot to say anything before. You have a lot of stuff buried in your story.
Thanks for the read.

Buried treasure, yes. Much of which will be unearthed along the way. This actually arose as I was trying to figure out why/how I thought the twins might have the same last name as their mother, but not their father. And why/how Miriam Princhek ended up with the name Miranda Priestly in the first place. Part of that might come up in the next arc, seeing as how it's the Father's Day weekend ... and Gregory Cockburn (you think he enjoyed that name as a child?) may want to find out for himself if Andy is on drugs or brain damaged. (grin)

Rest assured, there will be more Miranda/Andy interaction ... just not a lot of "action" quite yet. But eventually. I promise.

Thanks for the feedback and encouragement.

This has been one of the best Mirandy stories I have ever read- just letting you know. It's just so mmm, like that feeling you get when you relax in bed after a really hard day. I seriously can't wait till June, but I shall try and be patient.

Thank you so much for sharing this!

Jeeze Louise! That's wonderful to hear, even though it could induce serious performance anxiety!

Would that I could abandon my business and focus solely on the next bit, but alas I did *not* win the MegaMillions lottery last weekend. (Might have helped to buy a ticket, I suppose.) Then again, if one of YOU did ... LOL. Better get back to the task at hand, the better to free some time for cogitating about things Mirandy. I'll be in touch when the next bit comes together.

I like many here wait patiently or in my case not so patiently for June to arrive. Is it here yet? I think my calander shows it's June. LOL

This was a wonderful addition to your Life is a Banquete story. It is shaping into a wonderful series of stories and I'm sure the next installment will live up to its sisters.

Thank you for sharing.

Mother Nature appears to think it's May, at least, but she's clearly having hot flashes. Me, not so much any more (grin).

Thanks so much for the encouragement. This is the longest dang piece of fiction I've written to date and gods/muses/real life cooperating I intend to keep at it for another year or so (Andy and Miranda's time ... possibly real time too).
