You really are a quite gifted story teller.

I loved the little poem you had in this chapter.

Your writing is very fresh and intelligent.

Thanks for sharing. :-)

Thank you for the compliments. There's more ahead from some of my favorite poets -- we are heading toward April and National Poetry Month -- so the writing should stay somewhat creative even if I falter. [grin] I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback.

OKay!!! now that's just.... right... I mean...oh for corn's sake!!! My lovely Lady Wife (has a degree in Maths and has taught secondary school math for a bit) finally managed to get my totally non numeric mind around the concept that algebra was not the spawn of the devil and could actually make sense.....and flippin heck if you haven't actually explained how it actually works!!! I'm 44 and all it took was a lesson from Miranda Priestly (well you really) and it finally makes sense! Oy!!!

LOL great interaction here, so WONDERFULLY real while still being engaging. And Miranda's little turn on her way up the stairs about not bothering to pinch yourself. GOLD!!!!!!

heheh off to the next bit. ^_^

Getting lessons from Miranda ... well, there's a lot to think about there, eh? *g* The thing that intrigues me is how Miranda at home might be very different from Miranda at Runway ... and why.

I think Miranda's going to find it surprisingly pleasant to have Andy around ... if she doesn't get distracted and forget she's down in the basement in the first place.

I haven't commented, because I gobble up these chapters on my phone and I find it hard to respond on that tiny device. Just know....I LOVE THIS FIC!
