I think Miranda can be a very different person -- or at least tries to be -- when with her children. As for the aides, they're there in tribute to the women and men who care for our injured, elderly, etc., for much less pay (and often appreciation) than they deserve. And because they may have some recipes that Andy might find handy some arc...er, day. Thanks for commenting.

When I first saw Fahrenheit 451, I decided that the book I would "become" would be either Alice or Through the Looking Glass. Because they were memorable and worth preserving ... and short. (g) Thanks for taking the time to write.

And this weekend we'll begin Day Two. No math, but a mysterious Japanese word, some interesting food and a little fashion.

FYI, as the former editor of a couple of alumni magazines I'm all too aware (in MUCH smaller scale) of the kinds of things Miranda has to deal with on a daily basis. One of the things I think it will be interesting to explore -- and for the girls to learn -- is how much of what Miranda does that is NOT just about colors and shapes. Andy's presence should make sharing that a bit easier, eh?

Andy has an admirable curiosity about people, I think. And an open mind, though what she allows herself to "feel" may not always be in synch with what she believes intellectually. I think Rosalind and her partner may be helpful to her ... in a lot of different ways. [grin] Thanks for writing.

Loved it! The interactions were so natural. Even with Miranda. It seams as if Miranda might even be going easy on Andy to make her comfortable. Of course the common person in each interaction may be the key...

I think Miranda may be surprising herself a little with the latitude she's given Andy in several instances. I also think she tries to be better behaved in the presence of her girls. Besides which, Andy is not an employee, but a guest in her home and one to whom she owes something big. Still there's the potential for her to revert to Runway Miranda without warning and tear Andy a new one. Ya never know [grin] ... Thanks for the feedback.

I would love to see Miranda try and make up for that... Is it Sunday yet. :-D

Not quite Sunday, no. But you won't have to wait any longer than that, I promise.
