You do realize that you're as much of a victim as Megan and Ryan, right? Ryan had every right to know about what Vince said to you. The only thing I might've done differently is, either wait until after the party to tell Ryan, or swear Ryan's friend to temporary secrecy before telling him. Ryan had the right to know, but Megan's party was effectively killed, which isn't good either. You might wanna try to have a little get-together for her.
I must say though, whoever Ryan's friend is, I LOVE him!!!!! Punched Vince RIGHT in the mouth and broke his teeth? That is FABULOUS! I need friends who will kick ass for me like that... god I'm so jealous of Ryan. :-D
