[Jin, who has been spending his time staying in doors due to the rain, will come out upon hearing the noise. It is very different, after all, from the sound of the shadows. He'll stop to look at the machine, then look at the Doctor.]

A phone booth?

[And Jin will raise a brow, before a very amused look crosses his face.]

Oh? In the same sense as I 'borrowed' the Y-Data? With little intent to return it?

[The Doctor's grin mirror's Jin's, now.]

Little intent doesn't necessarily mean none. But yeah. Borrowed. Ended up not returning it and she and I have traveled together since.

[Hold on-- He raises a finger, pausing.] Y-Data?

It was confidential data where I come from. Deadly if it were to fall into the wrong hands.

[Jin won't say it, but if the Doctor is observant, there is a strange tenseness in Jin's face; the Y-data had already been deadly once before.]

A lot of things could be deadly in the wrong hands, but I definitely see your point. [Despite his curiosity, he'll leave that subject for another time.]

True. It all depends on the intent of the person in possession.

[Probably a good thing, as Jin may not answer.]
