Living away from home for the first time was proving more difficult than Peter thought it would be. He had big dreams of freedom and being an adult, but when it came down to it he missed his bed, he missed home cooking, and he missed getting to see everyone for dinner. Including Nathan.
Fortunately, because he came from money he was able to get an

"I miss you too. I'll come over from time to time, I'm sure. I had a crappy day and figured a brat like you could help make it a little better," he chuckled, putting his arm around Peter's shoulder as they headed out. "Are you doing ok though, otherwise?"

"Uhh...yeah. Lots of girls, like you said there would be. Getting kind tired of giving out my number." Going into this he'd been well aware that there would be chicks galore going after him. He was a strapping, well-off Italian, after all. Still, he'd made a silent promise to Nathan before he left. Kind of an unspoken deal that he wouldn't stray in the realm of sex. He was a bit naive, still, but not too stupid not to realize Nathan was probably banging young interns left and right. His brother was older and Peter figured it came with the territory of being Nathan Petrelli.
"Classes are okay...just busy work starting off."

He figured Peter would be off, sleeping with as many girls as possible, when he could. Why not? Nathan knew Peter thought he would be his one and only, or something, but obviously that was unrealistic.
"Which classes are you taking?" He hoped there were some law ones scattered in there, or dad would flip.

"I don't get to start my nursing courses til Junior year, so for now," he trailed off and gave a long sigh, thinking. "I'm taking some of the basics like Nutrition, Microbiology, Statistics, and then I've got a couple fillers. French one, and a women's studies class, 'cuz I couldn't get into anything else." Which was even worse for Peter. He found out yesterday that he was one of two guys in the class.

He had to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from rolling his eyes as Peter listed off his classes, "Nutrition? What the hell do you learn in nutrition, how to read food labels?" So Peter was still dead set on this nursing thing. God.
Then he gave his brother the look of all looks, "Women's studies? Are you serious? Pete, you better find some kind of law class you can finagle yourself into instead, because dad is going to cut you off. The nursing thing is bad enough."

"This is really important to me, Nate. If you hear dad bitching about it can't you just lie and tell him I'm planning on taking law classes next semester?"
Reply
"I'm not going to lie for you." They did plenty of lying already. "You want to do this? You have to take responsibility for it. Seriously, Pete."

They exited the building and Peter looked around for Nathan's car. Did he take a cab?
"You support me in it, right?" That mattered ten times more than Arthur's support.

He rubbed his forehead, sighing, "I support you in what's good for your future. I'm still trying to understand how this fits into that."
Walking down the street, he looked over at Peter, "I want you to be happy, Peter. I just want you to make the right choices." Peter always faltered when it came to things like that.
