So last weekend I did not think about school at all. It felt good, except on Sunday night, when I had a minor meltdown about the whole thing. I passed my airway test with an 80. I'm so tired of this skin-of-my-teeth thing. I try really really hard, and still only make the minimum. It's tiring. I need to get another text book. They told us at the beginning of the semester that we wouldn't need it, but apparently now we do.
Argh. -

Took the airway management quiz yesterday. I don't know how I did. It consisted of a multiple choice part on the computer, wtih 53 questions. It was the shortest EMS test I've ever taken. OMG. Airway management is so extensive.
Here is a snippet of my studyguide for this test, which is supposed to be on Saturday, mind you.
1. Identify neuromuscular blocking agents and other agents commonly used in rapid sequence intubation
2. Identify sedative and induction agents used in airway management

We got overloaded with Airway stuff tonight in class. It's such a small space, but it's the most vital space to life, thus, we need to know it inside and out, and backwards, and unside down, and paritially inverted with a 220 twist. I'll get right on that ( Read more... ) -
