Happy September! Just in case anyone needed any reminding, Nick Jonas will FINALLY be turning eighteen this month! The jailbait will be LEGAL.

GUESS WHO'S ALL GROWED UP?
Now, we did manage to pull off a Big Bang challenge in JoBro fandom, for the first time ever! And it was a big success, I think, even though I PERSONALLY failed to complete my own fic, and we did have a few artists just not do anything (which sucked, honestly). We got a whole bunch of delicious, long fic posted, only a tiny bit of which I've actually been able to read. But I do have some recs for you!
FIRST. Everyone should read annakovsky's vampire!AU, The Tongueless Caverns of the Earth. It is creepy as hell, dark and violent and HOT. Read the warnings, but then read the fic. I especially think SPN girls will like this one, because it would work really well for Sam/Dean, but is also MASTERFUL for Joe/Nick.
Next, you should read the POLAR OPPOSITE of the above fic, Can't Stop My Heart From Calling You by that_1_incident. It's Nick/David Archuleta. It's PG-13. It's ADORABLE.
That pretty much covers the extremes, but then I'd also heartily recommend these other fics that fall squarely into my sweet spot (that is, sexy fic about Nick Jonas and anyone else in existence.)
beckaandzac wrote a FANTASTIC Joe/Nick first-time fic in which the boys are on a summer tour of France. They're not rockstars and it is written from Nick's POV SO WELL. Go read: The Grand Tour.
sarahsan wrote a Joe/Nick non-AU fic with lots of KISSING, which is like, my KRYPTONITE. So good. Read: was not a crooked trail.
londondrowning reminded me once again why I love her writing with Other Times Are Running Elsewhere, which is Nick/Zac Efron, and an adaptation of The Time Traveler's Wife. Now, I generally hate the whole time traveling thing, but this fic was just really amazing - 50,000 words that felt like 10,000 because the story just flows. It legit had me crying at parts and then the SEX was also really hot, even though it's not one of my primary pairings. Just, read it, m'kay?
And then, in non-JBBB fic news, th_esaurus wrote not one but TWO smoking hot, porny Nick Jonas/Tom Hardy fics yesterday. I... haven't seen Inception yet (I KNOW I KNOW) but apparently people like this guy? I don't know about that, but I LOVE th_esaurus.
So there you have it, a little taste of the pre-birthday celebration for Nick J. Personally, I really dig Nick as he's getting older - he seems to just get more and more attractive to me.
