Multiple posts in one day! I know you guys are like, SHUT UP ALREADY. But I've got a crazy next few days and probably won't be able to post at all, so I'm getting it all out of my system now. And I feel like navel-gazing, so here's that meme that's all over my flist:

How do you approach the writing process? Do you have to be in a certain mindset? Do you do it all in one go? Or do you only write a little bit at a time?

Ahaha that first one is so Inside the Actor's Studio. I am pretty random and disorganized, really. Generally I'll have an idea in my head for a scene between two characters - just one scene, or a bit of conversation even - and I'll find some quiet time and write out the parts that surround that scene. The ideas generally come to me either right before I fall asleep or when I'm running, mainly because those are my 'me' times.

Accidental dating is such an atypical fic for me because I JUST write the little scenes I imagine, without filling in the set up and conclusion. I think it works because it's a story that's rooted in canon, so the readers generally know what got the characters to the point they're at, and can imagine what happens next.

Um,what else can I tell you about accidental dating fic? If this Selena Gomez thing keeps up for much longer I am going to have to deal with her in that verse. I've got some ideas for how to do this - she's a great foil for jealousy.
