Yes, seriously. I had never realized quite how dependent I was on it. It's a good thing I didn't buy that copy of WarCraft after all..I'd probably be wearing my laptop on a chain around my neck...I am so its biotch.
Aww, thanks for the advice! Not bad advice for being from a cubicle at all. I'm just keeping really busy with school-work, so at least I can say this whole thing benefited my grades!
But yeah, if you could cross his fingers and toes for me...j/k
As for the religion stuff, I agree. It should be private. I guess that's one reason I'm not huge on church, especially baptist church-all this declaring they should be the only ones saved and stuff and that Christians are better (granted, that's probably every church, and the baptists do have good songs, but still...) I just figure it's not up to me or any religion to judge that kind of thing. I nearly flipped when I saw a pamphlet at the church I went to with my grandma asking to save the Muslims. I think the Muslims need prayer that the violence will end, not that they should all become Christian.
Anyhow, random venting. Chocobo Tales looks interesting, but I heard that it was a super easy game without much plot. Hmmm...
I enjoyed Rune Factory. I agree it is quite repetitive and redundant at times ( An OCDs dream ) but thats what farming is all about I guess. The one thing that sucked was not being able to access that cave until winter.. I think I had almost two months to wait before I could get it. I got frustrated and started over and breezed through the game the second time around..
hahah, that winter cave thing is what really made me give up on the dungeons completely! I was trying so hard to go easy on the fact they were repetitive (as I am also totally OCD;) but that waiting thing...gah. No. Alas, I am also not a patient OCD person, I am a totally impatient OCD individual. Oh well, the game still is fun. Though whoever designed the library girl Tori is a SADIST. I have been courting her for two years with her favorite fruit, strawberries, buying all the spells and recipes, and reading all the books in the library. So far, her heart level is at....two.
Your holiday sounds odd. Well, your relationship with your boyfriend is similar to mine. Well, I'm not dating this guy, but we're like at this point, but I guess he doesn't want to be held to commitment. I'm not sure, 'cause at the same time, he talks about me all the time to his best friend (who we call Shiny). So. We're kinda like semi-dating-but-not-really. So... we're like really close, but it's like we're just there, being together but... we're also by ourselves. Yeah, I can't really explain it. UGH. HE'S SUCH A DORK I COULD JUST SMACK HIM IN THE FACE WITH HIS ELECTRIC GUITAR.
I'm Christian, and I go to a Baptist church against my will, but I'm not all that hardcore. "OHHH YOU'LL GO TO HELL FOR THAT." Yeah, I kind of ignore them and say, "OHHH YOU'LL GO TO HELL FOR HAVING SEX WITH THE DEACON FIVE YEARS AGO, HAVING A KID WITH HIM, AND NOT MARRYING HIM. OHHH. YEAH. FORNICATION." ...Yeah. I'm quite mean with some people. Not always, 'cause I usually like to keep my opinion to myself, but it slips out sometimes. I'm human, too. I

Yeah, me and my bf have been going out for a long time, actually, almost three years. I think he just wants some freedom back, because he feels that all through college he never had that. I who dated and stuff in college before I met him, have no desire to go back to that at all. The thing is, he actually is a decent guy, and there don't seem to be many of those at college at all. Ah well, stupid guys and their commitment issues, right? I swear, it does get so so temping to smack him.
Yeah, I don't what's up with guys and their problems with commitment. And like, when they get older, they go through a midlife crisis and try to relive their youth. They look silly, though! I don't know what goes through a guy's mind. It's one of the reasons why I'm taking psychology: so I can find out what's going through someone's head.
Nice review. I've never played a Harvest Moon game before, but i don't have many games for it so i might pick HM:RF up at some point. Trouble is, DS games just don't appeal to me as much as 360 games do. I can pick up a 360 game in a store, look at the back and think "Yes! I want this game." I just can't do that with a DS game.
Anyway, good review, and hope things straighten out with you and your boyfriend.
Yeah, I know what you mean. DS games don't exactly have the most illustrative and informative back covers. Usually, it's little cutesy things running around. And the game-play is often so different, it's hard to decide if you would like playing the game or not. The only DS game I have picked up without a review is (and yes, I do realize this makes me all of ten years old mentally)..Pokemon Pearl. Hah, I couldn't help myself there.
Anyway, if you pick up Rune Factory, just make sure you don't get the other older Harvest Moon DS by mistake. Gah, that game is so glitchy, it makes me want to cry.
