An enquiring glance flickers to Luzah, who shivers, but shakes her head helplessly.
A frown from Ishamael as he pounded his fist on the desk. Fury boiled in his voice as he glared forward.
"That is not good enough! For all we know Graendal had Samem Ren unleash a nest of Cafar in our basement, or set Draghkar to sing us to an everlasting sleep! But then, it could be nothing. We could have stopped it with Samem Ren!"
