COMMUNITY. I even watched the youtube clip three times before realizing the part where Beetlejuice walks across the background. I thought it was just the summoning spread over three seasons at first. COMMUNITY.

Oh man, she won a BAFTA? Now I'm well and truly impressed and kinda wanna watch the show. But, I'll tell you this, minus the rocket scientist part, that character description right there? LUCIE BLEEDIN' MILLER (Eighth Doctor audio companion).

I only noticed it the second time, and then had to go and watch the episode again just to make sure it hadn't been added in somehow.

You so should give Misfits a watch, or at least the first season, which is brilliant (the second is a bit of a disappointment, the third is turning out to be better than the second, but still hasn't lived up to the first). And Lauren Socha as Kelly is absolutely fantastic. She should be in everything.

I'm re-reading ASoIaF, and just got to Brienne! ... Sigh. I'm really going to have to watch this show, aren't I? And I've been trying so hard not to. (Also: Michelle Fairley, how so pretty? I'm not mad at you for not being Jennifer Ehle anymore, even.)

And yes, YAY Community.

You really should! With all adaptations, you miss stuff from the book (and I know I'm getting angsty about the stuff they're apparently cutting from CoK), but they also add a lot to it by being not confined to the POVs. A lot of the other characters are explored.

I love Jennifer Ehle and really love to see her get work (I nearly cheered out loud in the cinema a couple of weeks ago when she showed up in Contagion), so it does make me sad she was replaced, but I can't imagine anyone else other than Michelle Fairley playing Cat. She's not only a fantastic actress with such a expressive face who projects earthy regalness, but in a really smart decision they let her keep her Irish accent which works so well for all the Winterfell scenes as soon as she talks you know she's not from the North, and she's got crazy amounts of chemistry Sean Bean and Richard Madden, which makes all her scenes with Ned and Robb a joy.

(My flatmate like you is disappointed that Cat's not played by Jennifer Ehle, so I have pondered on the subject before).

The second Kelly got the power I went SHE'S GOING TO PUNCH HITLER, RIGHT? THEY WOULDN'T MAKE IT SO SHE CAN FIX THINGS IF SHE DOESN'T PUNCH HIM. And then they one-upped my expectations by making it a headbutt instead. Fantastic.

(Why did it post my comment as anonymous? IDEK.)

My thoughts watching it exactly! And then she kicked the shit out of him as well! Just brilliant.

Lol I love how one of the top rated comments to the GoT vid was Joffrey hatred. I'm still forever glad that in my last weeks studying at Trinity that I bumped into the actor on campus. :D <333

The actor would make THE BEST Draco Malfoy imho.

Yes, he would be the BEST Malfoy! They need to remake the later movies, just so that they can cast him in the role. I home the actor gets some other roles, he's so great, I'd feel bad for him if he's forever known as Joffrey.

I'd totally give anything to see that pair playing brother and sister in the TARDIS.
