I haven't posted in ages, which is terrible. I've sort of been running about a lot IRL lately (quite literally, for lack of a challenge recently and wanting to get fit, I've taken up distance running and been spending a lot of my free time training).

Anyway, so television over the past couple of weeks:

Doctor Who: Yeah, the fact that the trauma of getting kidnapped, discovering you're in labor with a baby you didn't know you had, giving birth to the baby in an unfamiliar, threatening environment, and then having the baby kidnapped was basically all ~detail~ for someone else's backstory and had no fallout for the character who went through it is disgusting to me. Yes. Right there you've detailed everything I despise about what Moffat did to Amy but better than I could.

I'm now left worried that any character he introduces is going to be built up and then revealed to be just a cog in a ridiculous plot that is unrelated to them.

For that very reason, I want a new head writer. At the end of the day, I'm in it for the characters, and I do not trust Moffat not to screw them over.

Go Inspector Spacestime, surviving all the way through the 1990s! The show is a juggernaut :)
