Dear brain, please stop drawing parallels between ASOIAF and Harry Potter. It's not doing me any good. The Starks are not the Weasleys and the Lannisters are not the Malfoys. Joffrey is certainly not Draco Malfoy and Samwell Tarly is not Neville Longbottom. And Littlefinger is not the Snape to Catelyn's Lily and Brandon and Ned's Sirius and James

I'm through the first four and DYING because I don't have Book 5 for another two weeks. It's become this bizarre part of my daily life now that I'm out of school that not having the further adventures of everyone is making me really sad.
Jon gets better, btw, and OMG JAMIE. At first, I was skeptical of his POV but Jaime has become as awesome as Tyrion to me. And Danys is saved in Book 3 by being a total badass, if it makes you feel better.

I'm having to slow down because at the rate I'm reading I may finish 4 before book 5 is released and I can't bare the thought of having to wait (of course, then I will finish book five and be waiting years for book six, so really there's no avoiding waiting, but still...). It's become a big part of my life a well, I love spending every second of my free time immersed in these books.
I've read a couple of Jamie's POV's in SoS and I have to say, he's such an entertaining character once you're in his head. Also, I'm so happy that now Sam is a POV! Yay!
