Damn it Torchwood, exploiting my soft spot for characters who are civil servants and using it to keep me on tenterhooks.

I do have a huge soft spot for civil servants though. I was actually way more upset about what happened to Yvonne Hartman in Doomsday than I was about anything to do with the forcible ending of Ten and Rose's co-dependence. Of ( Read more... )

That's the major downside of the an episode every day format I've found, it does make it difficult to discussion. Normally one day behind wouldn't make much difference because there would still be six left for discussion until the next episode.

Exactly! I don't care for the format myself either. I prefer an episode a week, however in this case I'm glad of glad I don't have to wait a week between them!

It does also write off a week's worth of evenings. The format makes for great 'event' telly particularly since the quality of the episode matches the hype, but hopefully it this is a special event and wont be repeated by other shows.

Oh man, Harvey Dent. I sometimes forget about him. He was brilliant, wasn't he?

I'm so behind on Torchwood. I did just obtain the last three eps so I might mainline them tonight.

He was. It's such a shame everyone seems to have moved on from TDK fandom.
