Have you seen Intermission? He's fairly normal in that, too. Plus, it has the added bonus of Colin Farrell being obsessed with woks. And there is a sheep hit and run. Lots of stories interwoven, so it's sort of a twisted Love Actually set in Ireland.

No. I've never heard of it before, but it sounds fun. I'll keep an eye out for it next time I'm at the video store.
