This is so lovely! And slightly more introspective then its companion piece -- which makes sense, considering it's from the the Doctor's POV. That clever little Garry goldfish is probably stockpiling affection the Doctor and Donna have for each other.

I sometimes think the Doctor has the memory of a goldfish, in certain very selective areas. And in his later incarnations, I wonder if he might not envy Garry, sometimes, just a little bit.

Thanks! I think he is rather a lot like Garry. He certainly acts like he has a three second memory sometimes, but because moving on is what he has to do.
