What Family Means, Winsome

To everyone who has me friended:

Does anyone know what happened to winsome1, the author of What Family Means?It seems that the author simply "vanished" from the face of the internet. Her last post was in 2006 and there she stated that she was planning to finish her fic soon

i assume that 1) she got tired of it or 2) she died.

I noticed that you friended me recently (welcome!), so I'm commenting on a recent post to ask my standard new-to-my-flist question: Would you like to be on my Fics-In-Progress-Babble filter?

I never post works in progress, or any other fic, to the filter. It's just where I bitch and chew about stories that are in progress, post word counts, ask for help, update folks on how stories are going, and that sort of thing. People have to specifically ask to be added because I refuse to tease people by talking about stories that may never be written or posted unless they knowingly sign up for the teasing. Interested?

Oh, I want to be teased! I'd like to be added. I feel very reassured when I get info on the writing progress/plans of the authors I like. Because too many of them have disappeared without notice at some point. And I hate being deprived of my supply of fic :) And I have to say I very much enjoy your Steve/Tony...

I totally understand. It's particularly frustrating when the person is in the middle of posting a work in progress! I don't post WIPs myself (I did that once and totally learned my lesson *g*), but being on the filter does give warning if I wander to and from ideas and fandoms. *g*
