((fighting for what's right))

I have seldom seen such viciousness. They seemed never to tire, never to feel pain...their only goal was carnage. [he seems tired, and contemplative.]

They seemed confused by me, at one point. They could sense I wasn't their usual prey....hmm. This state of being has its advantages, at times. Although I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ( Read more... )

I'm alright... Are you okay, Mr. Meryl?

Flonne...

[It's nice to hear from her. She always cheers him up.]

A bit worse for wear, but nothing I won't survive. I was out fighting quite a bit.

Phew. Thank goodness...

Please be sure to look after your health over the next few days. It would be bad if you ended up getting too tired or sick.

I think that I used up all the arrows that I had left. But I still tried my best, and Lute tried to make sure that no one was badly hurt either.

[O you.]

Thank you, Flonne. I'll do my best. [He'll be out and about making stuff for the kitchen. Someone should sit on him to stop him from working or something.

Also, pinged a bit...]

Oh. You were with Lute.

[Gyatso hasn't said much during this entire thing. The Reavers make him sad. He pities them. Can you sense your wondertwin's sadness?]

[We can indeed! Although Meryl isn't quite sure what's making wondertwin sad. His first idea is that it's hard for the monk to be surrounded by such carnage, but he has the feeling that it's more than just that.

He comes to sit by Gyatso, waiting for him to speak up.]

[Gyatso doesn't speak at first, just sitting there meditating. Or trying to meditate.

Gyatso has been disturbed by these recent events. Finally, he speaks.]

Those poor souls.

[That's cool, he'll wait. Of course, when wondertwin finally speaks up, his words don't make any sense....]

....the Reavers?

[... undead magic people unite?]

There's usually a positive side to anything. Including your condition.

[AWESOME undead magic people unite :D ]

True enough. There are some who would say the positives outweigh the negatives.

[That works. 8)]

But only those who truly experience it for themselves can understand. It's not as easy of a fate as an outsider might think.

[They should make a club.]

Mmmn. [True dat. A little wryly.]

It's taboo in Azeroth.

I tried to make sure anyone who got hurt was able to go to the hospital. Other than that I did my best to clear them out quickly.

I'm a little concerned that they suddenly showed up like this though. A while ago I went into the forest to do a survey of the monsters there, and I couldn't find any of them then....

They weren't there at all? Were they simply hidden, perhaps?

She's a dear friend so of course I was helping her.

I'm not sure, there is a possibility I could have missed them but.... Sometimes the monster population changes, I'm not sure how or why though.
