I'm riding an NBME low (the dreaded eight hour torture that is Step 1 of the US Medical Licensing Exam will commence in four days on the 26th), and an AMA high (just won the election for Region Chair), which means procrastination is in order. So, I thought I'd round up the fics I'm planning to write when boards are finally over next week to help ( Read more... )

Ha, that wasn't going to be what that fic was about, but I think I might have to add a Cameron Death Fic to the list. *nods* Yes, it must be done. And of course you can help pick how she goes. *grins* Oh, the possibilities. :)

Hey! Many congratulations on your election victory! That's quite an achievement.

I'm v. much looking forward to all of those fics. That 'Cuddy hides something from House' prompt sounds like an interesting one :)

I also want to make some headway on the sick!House prompts table

It's really unfair that you've actually done an 'anemia' story, because the most recent episode *begs* for fic. Seriously, three transfusions in a decade? I only count one canon incident. I know you're busy, but someone must write this and I'm far too busy dodging dissertation work. ;)

Yeah, I haven't really gotten very far along the prompts table yet.
Rereading that list just goes to show me how deeply I underestimated how hectic third year of med school would turn out to be.
As for more on anemia, the recent ep. definitely leaves the door open for some solid sick!fic, but I don't know about only counting one canon incident. I could easily see two transfusions being necessary following the shooting, and House could have needed one post-op. after the debridement as well. Of course, there are plenty of other options to explore too. Good luck with the dissertation work! :)
