For nearly two years now, Steve Rogers aka: Captain America has remained dead. The incredible talents of Ed Brubaker created a rich, tension filled drama towards the end of Marvel's Civil War which ended with dear ol' Captain A getting gunned down as he was turning himself over to the authorities and revealing his secret identity. Y'know, I'd really hoped this would be the exception to the rule. It was a very serious moment when Cap died, and I'd had hopes that they'd let him stay dead and make that a permanent thing, something to remember and build off of.

Oh well.

Or I should say that Bruce Wayne's spirit isn't dead. "Batman" is very much alive...just the role of Batman is being played by Dick Grayson.

so Rogers is coming back? or just another to fill the suit officially?

As long as there's good writers, time travel, cloning and healing factors.. superheroes wont die.
