I don't really know where to start here, but it's not a formal review, so I guess that doesn't matter. Not cut b/c the only people who're seeing this are ones who presumably want to read it and can't be spoiled.

cut for public consumption: mild spoilers for the first half of season 1 )

really big shew

I'm actually appreciating Sinclair more this time around. And uh, not to disappoint you, but the actor who plays him really is sort of.....bad. I didn't want to tell you how I felt about his acting until you got to see him for yourself.
And you'll get some military drama....sometime :)

I agree, needs more Talia/Susan.

Also there will be some serious bad decisions and shitty things happening. I promise you. I can't really say more at this point.

I'm glad you are actually liking Franklin too, sometimes I don't pay him enough attention and he really is a pretty interesting character.

Wellllll, I guess when it annoys me, I'll just pretend to myself he does it on purpose.

Wow putting the cgi in terms of Toy Story makes it look really bad. But unlike Toy Story B5 was on a small budget so I think that it looks fairly okay, and I got used to it pretty fast the first time I watched it.

I feel like half of this is me just telling you yes, you will get this or that. So yes you will get to learn more about the individual ambassador aliens :)

Also hey we finally had that last episode we watched with Talia not only not being traumatized and stressed out, but also her interacting with that Susan chick too. Wonder what's going on with those two ladies?

There is a casino on ST Deep Space 9 too, so maybe it's just a 'hey you're stuck sort of out in the middle of nowhere in space so why dont you play some blackjack'. I mean, what other sorts of entertainment do you think they should have?

(I'll probably comment again)

For who can understand the depths of the ladybrain (except for a lady telepath, I guess)? mechers February 3 2012, 02:59:48 UTC
Dude, I have no idea! I have heard of this thing called, "subtext," maybe you have too? I am not sure but that MAY be "what's going on." I shall have to pay very close attention to their interaction.

The subtext needs to rapidly become text.

We're watching on the WB site, so I'm not entirely sure what version I'm getting. It does look clunky to my eye, though. Thanks for commenting!

Here from ghanimasun - hi! Babylon 5's pretty much in my top three of favorite shows ever, and I don't disagree with a thing you wrote about season one. Heck, I even kinda had a soft spot for Sinclair and I totally agree with you on that score, too. Which is to say, I guess, that it will get better. :D
